Human Exon Microarrays

The Agilent SurePrint G3 Human Exon Microarrays come in two options, offering a choice in coverage and throughput. Offering probes targeting individual exons, these arrays make it possible to look beyond the gene to more subtle but relevant expression changes. Agilent Gene Expression Microarrays remain the fast, simple, and affordable choice in gene expression analysis, with new capabilities to drill down into important RNA changes including those at the exon level. Importantly, the gold standard sensitivity provided by Agilent Gene Expression Microarrays has been retained in these new Exon versions, so that even the smallest fold changes are detected.

The flexibility of this technology means that unlimited custom arrays can also be created, designed using Agilent's online application eArray.

Agilent's Gene Expression microarray platform, with its set of optimized reagents and hardware, enables highly-sensitive, highly-scalable, and highly-reproducible profiling with low RNA input amounts (down to 10 ng).
Also available are SurePrint G3 Exon Microarrays, the same level of performance and sensitivity but with comprehensive coverage down to the exon level. Exon arrays are available for human, mouse, and rat to enable multiple experiments from the same dataset: gene-level, exon-level, and splicing analysis.
  After Gene Expression microarray results are obtained, Agilent's QPCR portfolio enables researchers to verify microarray results or do more detailed analysis on gene expression changes. Agilent's Mx3005P QPCR system provides reliable results in a flexible, easy to use platform. Brilliant QPCR reagents are validated on the Mx3005P QPCR platform to provide sensitive and reliable quantification down to single-copy detection and two-fold differences in expression.

An additional option in our Gene Expression portfolio is the SureSelect RNA Capture Target Enrichment Kit, enabling the target enrichment of specific transcripts of interest, or as a validation tool for whole transcriptome sequencing experiments.

Ten nanograms of RNA were labeled using the Low Input Quick Amp Labeling Kit in replicate and hybridized to the new SurePrint G3 Gene Expression Microarrays. Log2 signals are compared, demonstrating high reproducibility (r > 0.99) across ~ 5 logs of dynamic range for samples labeled independently and hybridized to separate arrays.

High-resolution mapping of transcriptional events
Traditional techniques for gene expression analysis have provided valuable insights towards deciphering the human genome. Characterizing the intricacies of transcriptional regulation requires analytical tools that address the complexities associated with DNA-protein interactions and binding, weaving together the fields of genomics and proteomics.
